What we are looking for:

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Client Service Support, Institutional Markets, the intern will work in collaboration with the team’s associates, managers and vice presidents to provide institutional clients with quality service. The intern will participate in activities related to the life cycle of an institutional client. The intern will learn about existing investment vehicles and about the various needs and types of institutional clients by participating in the account opening and reporting process, and by implementing mandates. He or she will also be assigned process analysis projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within the framework of his or her duties, the incumbent will perform the following tasks:

  • Participate in opening institutional client accounts;
  • Participate in updating legal documentation;
  • Participate in regular account reporting;
  • Participate in regular reviews of mandate results in preparation for client meetings;
  • Participate in updating client databases;
  • Participate in processing qualitative and quantitative ad hoc requests (returns, strategies, operations, administration) and consultant questionnaires;
  • Participate in other related duties;
  • Projects:
    • Assist team members in automating the processing of recurring requests;
    • Assist team members in documenting existing processes.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Administration, Market Finance or other relevant discipline;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite. Ability to create simple macros an asset;
  • Independent, responsible, organized;
  • Knowledge of financial vehicles an asset;
  • Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is an asset.
