Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Quality Assurance & Food Safety, this role is primarily responsible for supporting a company-wide QA project. This includes working with plants to help deliver established milestones, tracking progress of assigned tasks and overall timely execution of the project.

Key Accountabilities

• Environmental monitoring program tracking and trending
• Coordinating project activities and timelines with plant QA Managers
• Standardizing sampling programs
• Preparing standard operating procedures
• Supporting development of reporting procedures
• Working directly with the QA leadership team as well as plant QA Leadership
• Weekly status reporting on key project milestones, team successes and project risks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a College or University program in Food Science or a related field
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Computer Literacy (intermediate MS Word, MS Excel)
• Strong attention to detail
