The Opportunity:
Embark on a journey where you play a vital role in shaping children's learning, growth, and fun! As a Day Camp Counsellor, you'll contribute to their physical and social development in a safe and child-centered haven.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver daily activities that spark creativity and excitement.
- Comply with New Brunswick Child Care standards and Abuse Protocol Practices, aligning programming with YMCA and New Brunswick standards.
- Embrace the YMCA Healthy Child Development Program, infusing its principles into your vibrant programming.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, responding promptly and effectively in emergencies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Day Camp or Youth Program setting.
- Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent team player with cooperative leadership abilities.
- Flexible with working hours and locations.
- Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a cleared Social Development Check.
- Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR.
