Overview

As a Nursing Student, you will use knowledge, skills, and experience in the provision of care while learning the functions of a nursing unit at one of Horizon’s facilities.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an approved nursing degree program (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Practical Nurse Diploma, Personal Support Worker Diploma, etc.)

Patient Care Attendant Opportunity

Bachelor of Nursing students upon completion of two years of nursing education or Practical Nursing students can now start working with Horizon as a Patient Care Attendant on a nursing unit with no requirement to float and are not considered core staffing. These opportunities are casual and follow the CUPE collective agreement.
