Bear's Den Mid-mountain Service (Summer)

Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Bear's Den Snack Shack Staff. Reporting to the Mountain Food and Beverage Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous F&B experience, will be an excellent communicator with a customer service orientation and keen to work in a mountain environment. - Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
- Maintain policies and procedures of RCR and F&B department
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following proper HACCP procedures
- Ring in all food items quickly and precisely
- BBQ operation
- Cash-outs and safe balance
- Proper rotation procedures (FIFO)
- Restocking the area as necessary and after peak times
- Daily cleaning duties
- Communication with your teammates / multitasking / teamwork
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Know and abide by RCR policies, Employee Handbook guidelines and Safety Management Program
You Have:
- Outgoing & engaging personality
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects
- Team player, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in the service industry
- 'Food Safe' and 'Serving it Right' certification an asset
- Must be an intermediate skier
