Job Description

Accountabilities:

  • Support the building services team with the contract administration of the facilities management service agreement

  • Work with the Director of Building Services to develop and implement the annual FFE Capital Replacement Plan

  • Conduct inventory assessments of hospital space, FFE and signage to identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout projects.

  • Review and update paper and electronic drawings as necessary, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

  • Perform site inspections and document project deficiencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills for effective interaction with the architectural team and other disciplines.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings using Outlook and MS Teams

  • Assist in preparing and editing presentations and reports using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Qualifications

  • Currently a University Student in an Engineering or Architecture Program

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills are required

  • Strong computer skills including MS office.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication (written, verbal and English comprehension) skills

  • Sound organizational skills with demonstrated ability to problem-solve and to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
