The YMCA of Three Rivers marks the official unification of the YMCAs of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo, the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph, and the YMCA of Stratford-Perth as one regional entity. You will ensure the safety of aquatic participants by enforcing rules and responding to emergencies while delivering high-quality swim instruction. Additionally, you will maintain equipment and foster an inclusive, enthusiastic environment for all members and staff.

The lifeguard and instructor will ensure a safe aquatic environment by enforcing safety standards and responding to emergencies. They will also deliver high-quality swim instruction and maintain recreational equipment.

Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive aquatic environment by enforcing safety rules, monitoring designated areas, and responding to emergencies. Teach swimming to participants of varied abilities, provide encouragement and feedback, communicate with participants and colleagues, complete progress reports, and maintain aquatic equipment.
