Experiences and Skills You’ll Use to Solve: A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy and Financial Crime services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme and help run their cybersecurity operations that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats. As an intern, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities may include: Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection, response and attack patterns Work in an operational environment and learn first-hand on how cybersecurity operations work in detecting and preventing cyber threats Assist with security monitoring, detection, response and client care Ensure cyber security incidents are investigated identified, assessed, reported, communicated to the client, and mitigated Ensure compliance to client agreements, adherence to process and process improvements to achieve operational objectives Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework Perform threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring Coordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them Enable cyber operations reporting to support anomaly detection, SLA monitoring or effort / estimate modelling With connectivity being a key enabler of our strategy, our objective is to become the most connected firm - connected to our clients, our communities and to each other. Assist in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cybersecurity threats within an operational environment. Develop security processes and perform threat modeling to strengthen the Security Operations Framework.

Must be enrolled in a post-secondary technology program, preferably in the third year, with coding proficiency in Java, C, C++, or Python. Requires strong analytical skills and legal authorization to work in Canada.
