Job Summary The General Labourer is responsible for the housekeeping of Plant 1, Plant 2 (as required). This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health & safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures. Summer Student positions available. Education and Experience • Experience working in a factory environment in a similar role will be considered an asset • Familiar with safe use and handling of cleaning equipment and supplies Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Capable of problem-solving • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner • Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane Job Requirements and Responsibilities • Emptying garbage containers throughout the facility • Cleaning around machinery ex. sweeping up metal chips, etc. • Sustaining cleanliness of washrooms • Maintaining stock of supplies and replenishing supplies in washrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunch rooms, etc. • Sweeping, mopping, washing and vacuuming floors as required including spill clean-up, etc. • Washing windows, walls and ceilings as required • Running errands upon request of appropriate personnel as required • Sustaining outdoor maintenance such as snow removal, etc. as required • Positively contribute to a healthy corporate culture by building trust, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement • Other duties as assigned Must be 16+ year old and have reliable transportation or valid driver's license How to Apply: Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a resume via email. What you’ll do

Responsible for the general housekeeping and cleanliness of Plant 1 and Plant 2, including floor maintenance and waste removal. Duties also include replenishing supplies and performing outdoor maintenance such as snow removal.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation or a valid driver's license. Experience in a factory environment and the ability to operate heavy equipment like forklifts and cranes are considered assets.
