Job Summary

The Canadian marketing team is looking for an analytical self-starter interested in working in an integrated team environment touching many departments cross functionally within the organization. You will be working within the Pricing and Market Intelligence Team to understand the business environment, find opportunities, identify threats and grow the business knowledge. This position requires good understanding of relational database technical skills which will help enhance pricing and market intelligence databases and tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Produce daily and weekly intel bulletins to communicate situational awareness
  • Analyzing large data sets from multiple sources such as MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server
  • Cleansing and manipulation of data
  • Assist in the preparation of impactful analytics and reports
  • Supporting new departmental initiatives
  • Create automated processes or tools required for the pricing and maket intellengence team
  • Support an advanced market data and analytics system
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes

  • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Co-op education program (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business)
    • Recognized post-secondary education program (Science, Math, Business, Engineering or Computer Science) is an asset
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Access)
    • Working knowledge of SQL
    • Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and ETL Tools such as SSIS
    • Familiarity with VBA, Python, and Qlik or Tableau is an asset
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong organization and analytical skills
    • Solid oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to self learn technical tools, dabases skills and other programming langugaes as required
