  • Enthusiastic and energetic individual who is comfortable interacting with guests daily.
  • Familiar with the requirements working in a federally certified fish processing plant.
  • Experience fish filleting, vacuum packing, plant cleaning.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs frequently, work in extreme cold, handle dangerous chemicals, sharp knives and small machinery.
  • Team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to live and work remotely.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Receiving/identifying species Pacific fish and utilizing forms to record accurately.
  • Monitoring guest catch to ensure within DFO regulations, communicate with guides/guests.
  • Fillet, portion, trim and prepare fish for processing.
  • Vacuum pack, label, and freeze.
  • Ensure quality control.
  • Ensure chain of custody maintained.
  • Boxing, strapping and preparing transport paperwork.
  • Maintaining plant cleaning and refrigeration logs.
  • Adhere to Sanitation and Food Safety Plan procedures.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
