The Opportunity
This position requires a candidate with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
A successful candidate should have experience in emergency management, risk, business continuity, environment, crisis management, or a relevant field.
This position will be asked to support the emergency management team to execute on work including developing and updating emergency response and business continuity plans, developing and executing emergency exercises to test these plans and build capacity in response capability, and evaluating response activities to continue to improve the quality of response.
This individual will have a unique opportunity to work with career tenured emergency management professionals in the energy sector across North America supporting Gas, Liquids, and power assets with CEM Certification and experience in a broad variety of disciplines.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualification
Enrollment in an Emergency Management program would be preferred
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
Committed to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity
Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities
Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development
