Responsibilities: Maintaining all areas of the golf course, including mowing, trimming turf, maintaining bunkers and other assigned tasks Positive attitude towards your fellow turf-maintenance team members and Club members Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors daily Wages & Hours of Work: Earn up to $23.74/hour (base rate is $21.74/hour + 2 dollar/hour seasonal retention incentive) + benefits Shifts start as early as 6:00 AM Typical shifts involve working 5 days in a row, either from Tues - Sat OR Sun - Thurs. Working 32 - 38 hours per week This is a contract position until the end of October. Depending on the right individual, seasonal work could be extended beyond into the winter months Qualifications: Experience working outdoors (i.e. golf courses, landscaping or manual labour) is an asset Previous experience using hand tools or equipment is preferred Have a positive attitude and be a team player Sustain prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling Physically able to operate power equipment Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs is desirable, but not essential Possessing a driver’s license is preferred Additional Information: Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions All on-site training provided Golf shirts, work gloves, and footwear allowance provided Golf can occasionally be arranged at appropriate times through a supervisor Benefits: Team & company-wide events Health Benefits On-site parking Limited golf privileges
