The organization serves communities across Vancouver Island, British Columbia, including the Greater Victoria Area, Salt Spring Island, Comox Valley, Campbell River, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, and now expanding to Squamish, BC. Job description: LITTLUNIVERSE is looking for an enthusiastic Camp Leader in the Squamish Area, BC to join our team this Summer 2026 Break. Help continue the tradition of making our CAMPS a Summer highlight for our campers! Our mission is to provide an exciting, memorable, and educational event that consists of LEGO Robotics, Science, Games and more! Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Working Dates: Week 1, Aug 24 - 28; Week 2, Aug 31 - Sept 4. Work Location: In-person Pay: CA$22.50 per hour Job Type(s): Fixed term contract, Seasonal Qualifications: Experience working with kids is highly preferred. We have a maximum of 1-12 Leader to participant ratio. Experience with the LEGO Robotics not necessary! Training provided. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Team player as well as ability to take charge when required First Aid/CPR certification required prior to start date. Responsible, dedicated and trustworthy. You will need to have a reliable mode of transportation. A clean criminal record check (venerable sector) will need to be completed if you are hired (if you don't already have a recent one on file). Responsibilities: Lead and supervise groups during activities/camps. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Encourage teamwork and collaboration among campers. Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and activities. Assist in the setup and cleanup of camp activities.
